Hello Blogging World...
Well, my mum's book club is over at our house right now, and me and my brother have been banished to the other side of the house. We're stuck in our rooms till god knows when. Boring, boring, boring.
-sigh- AND I had to vacuum the whole house while she got it all spiffy-i-fied up to impress her friends. It was like Christmas dinner all over again.
Anyway, so, I am sitting in my room at 10:06pm, very bored and tired. I'm not going to bed untill I have a shower. I have this weird obsessive thing which means I can't go to sleep unless I've had at least 2 showers in one day. Otherwise I feel all dirty and horrible. It's like a very very VERY mild case of OCD, but only one thing I get obsessed over. It only started a few months ago, but it's kinda weird.
Anyhoo, I supposed it's nothing to worry about. So, me and my brother got sooo bored we decided to dance round my room lip-syncing to one of my first ever favourite songs, Strawberry Kisses by Nikki Webster. When I was 5 I made up a whole dance routine to it, but the CD got ruined when my brother tried to join in, jumping around like a maniac, ruining the CD.
I guess it wasn't his fault really, he was only 2 at the time...
Oh good, sounds like the book-worms are FINALLY leaving, fingers crossed!
Wait....waaaaiiiit..... -sneaks down hallway-....-peers round wall- ... yes! They're going! Woohoo! -does happy dance quietly while trying not to get noticed-
:D Better be off, shower time!
Happy Blogging

new names, and falling through colours.
Hey y'all
Ok, so I know Ive allready blogged today, but I just thought Id say I've changed the blog name to "ramblings and other useless nonsense"
Why? Coz it sounds cool, and it makes more sense to call it that. Thought I'd tell y'all so not to confuse people. About that fight I was having with Charlotte, it's all cleared up now. Turns out she was joking too. Phew...
Well, anyway, now I'm here, may as well blog about SOMETHING. So I thought I'd tell y'all about the mind-boggling, strangly addictive and fun new past-time of mine. Go onto iTunes, and as your playing a song, press Ctrl+T. These AMAZING pretty graphics come up that sort of move, or whatever you call it, with the music. If you just stare at it, you get this sort of sensation that your falling through the colours.
I have a really strange way at looking at things? Hell yes. :)
It really helps pass the time though....
Speaking of time, must be off now, going to my mate's house. Apologies for my most random rambling yet and my strange way of looking at the world!
TTFN!

Falling asleep to Twilight Songs, and an apology.
Hello Blogging World...
Zoe's back, here to bore you with more of inside her head. Again, apologies to all my nonsense ramblings and what-not, but I hope you enjoy anyway...
Well, last night I was listening to Esme's Favourite, the song Edward Cullen wrote for Esme in Twilight. Before you go running for the hills screaming AAAAAGH!! A TWILIGHT FAN!!! Don't worry, Im not an obsessed pshyco who thinks she is a vampire and doesn't eat anything, I just enjoy the books, love the songs and like the movie.
Anyhoo, I had this on repeat on iTunes, and without realising, I feel asleep with it on. Woke up at 3AM wondering what the hell that music was, before suddenly remembering that I'd had it on repeat mode. Shrugged, and fell back to sleep. Needless to say, this is now #1 on "Top 25 Most Played Songs" playlist.
As for my apology, today at school me and my friend Charlotte had a "pretend fight". Well, I though it was pretend, but it turned out not to be. If Charlotte is reading this, I'm very sorry Charlotte, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or get into a fight with you. I honestly thought you were joking, and I'm really, really sorry. Honest to my heart.
If she reads this, great. She probably wont, but even if she doesn't, at least I've written it down. Which is usually what I do when I have something I need to let out.
Hope I haven't bored you yet with my pointless blogs about a little fight. God, this is starting to sound a bit like Gossip Girl... -shudder-
Must be off, got to take the dog for a walk.

RIP Little Birdy & Fell
I was walking home from school today and was just about to turn down the street when I saw a little birdy dead on the street. It was really cute, coral green coloured and everything. I had a moment of silence for it.
After that I had a flashback to when I was about 11, and we were over at my family-friends farm, about 10km from our bach. They have 3 kids, Natalie, (she is 6 or 7, I cant remember), Lilly (she's 4) and Auson (I think he is 2). Well, anyway, Nat was about 5 and Lilly was 2 1/2, and me and my brother were climbing the giant tree with them in the backyard. We'd found a birdsnest last time we came round, but had forgotten about it till now.
All of a sudden, we heard something fall from the treetops, Natalie screamed and more things dropped to the ground. One hit Lilly's head, one fell down Natalie's top, and another landed on my brother's shoulder. What were these things? Little baby birds getting chucked out of the mother's nest.
Of course, we went back down the tree to investigate, and found a little dead bird lying on the floor. Me being me, I decided to have a mini funeral for the little dead bird, and we made a cross out of twigs and some blue string that Natalie found in the cupboard. We buried it, and Lilly came up with a very appropriate name for the deceased chick. Fell, "because it fell out of the tree." I personally thought it was genious coming from a 2 year old, so we had a moment of silence for Fell.
Fell is still there today, though the twig cross has long gone missing. Fell is now joined by Fred the dog, a very lovely dog who died of cancer early this year.
Well, must be off, got a pile of homework to finish o_O

You know what sucks?
Thinking the most awesomest thing to blog about when you're lying in bed just about to fall asleep, and then you wake up the next morning and not being able to remember it.
I really should keep a pen and paper next to my bed so I can write these things down...
Well, anyway, speaking of pen and paper, I have seem to of lost a total of 34 pens this year. Even though I buy more and more, I can usually never find one. This has resulted in most of my school books being filled with sparkly green, yellow, orange, pink and purple gel-pen, much to my teacher's dismay. But, unless they are all going to pitch in and replace every pen I've lost, they're going to have to put up with gel-pen for now.
Well, must be off, got to have some breakfast (weet-bix anyone??) No, maybe coz it's Sunday I should have the full-on bacon and egg sandwich... oh yeah. We've run out of BBQ sauce. And a b&e sandwich is nothing without BBQ sauce.
I'll leave you with my breakfast ponderings, hope my blogging hasn't managed to drive you all completely insane with boredom.
